The number of lettered editions is not known...
a. 70 numbered copies designated an “artist’s presentation state,” signed by the authors and the book’s 10 illustrators.
b. A lettered state of an indeterminate number of copies designated an “artist’s presentation state,” signed by the authors and the book’s 10 illustrators.
c. 30 copies reserved for the press, marked “Author’s Copy.”
d. 5 designer’s copies, signed by the authors and the book’s 10 illustrators.
e. Deluxe limited edition of 1,200 numbered copies, with slipcase, signed by both authors.
f. An unknown number of copies of the “Deluxe Edition” are designated “Publisher’s Copy.”
g. Trade edition of 1,200 copies, with slipcase.
I received my signed copy on Dec 19, 1984.
What color is the Presentation copies designated an “artist’s presentation state,” signed by the authors and the book’s 10 illustrators.?
I noticed today that the Deluxe edition has no signatures.. not even artists.
So I am confused by the state with a limitiation of 70. Some are numbered and some are lettered. Are there 70 lettered and 70 numbered each or combined? I have letter G and number 70. It looks like there is also a number 23 and Letter T accounted for. So if it is 70 combined, would it be then :
A-T (or U or V)
21 (or 22 or 23) - 70
Or did they do 70 numbered and then use the same limitation page for the Lettered, and just do A-Z?

The way I read it is that there are 70 numbered copies of the artist presentation state, and an unknown number of lettered copies. So the numbered copies are 1-70 and the lettered copies are A - ??
They just used additional copies of the artist presentation edition limitation page for the lettered editions, I suppose. That's why the lettered edition is marked T of 70.
