All I can tell you about them is that I like them - A LOT! Nice one! I mean nice three!
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
I'm going through it now, and it really is a wonderful thing. I'm not going to post photos of the pages with changes, because unpublished material like that is under strict copyright.
But I can describe some stuff. There are lots of small edits, lots of little comments and suggestions by Chuck Verrill, often with replies by King. Unfortunately, Verrill used some sort of biro that became pretty much illegible after it was photocopied. A lot of them can kind of be decyphered, but not all. But all of King's edits are very clear.
For instance, King strikes out a passage in which Stan Uris recalls being called "Stan Urine" as a boy, and writes alongside it: "It seemed like a good idea at the time."
Something that occurs a lot is that Verrill suggests that a sentence is to be cut, and King writes "STET" next to it, meaning no no I don't agree, keep that in!
I've done a quick count, in the 1600 pages, there are about 45 longer (paragraph-length) passages that have been cut. There is one nice extra page in the chapter where they build the dam in the barrens. There are two extra pages in an adult Bev chapter, when she thinks about her father, and looks in the window of a book shop and sees among others, Stephen King books lying there! (No titles are mentioned, just his name in a list of authors.)
Anyway, if anyone has any extra information on them, I'd love to hear it.
