Issue price?
There is no price on my copy.
I thought first editions had a price listed. i know the book club editions did not.
Correct. In almost all circumstances BCE's not only omitted a price on the dustjacket, but also lacked a number-line on the copyright page-and thus were of little to no value to a collector. This book and its UK counterpart are "unique", but not unheard of. Complete information is still lacking.
Secret Windows is a "Book Club", but it also commands a place in the Catalog; primarily because there is/was no trade edition. Even "Secret Windows" has peculiarities as to the color of the cover. All great fodder.
I picked up the Omnibus many many years ago (87-89), and never knew if it was in anyway an official Stephen King collectible. Mine says the edition was printed in 1986 so I guess I didn't luck out and find a first edition. Mine had no price either....Thanks for the info!
I'm new here, but not sure if that's why I'm unable to edit this article. Is that why?
Here's the required edit:
Line 4. Publisher. Octobus = Octopus
Thanks.
