How similar is this edition to the CP edition on which it is based?

I know it has the Uelsmann art, but does it include all of it?

    How does the size compare?

(I don't expect to ever own a CP SL and might like this as a "closest thing" substitute, although I do have the CD SL, and that's not chopped liver).

It has 7 pieces of art included plus end papers so 8 in total. It's the same size as a standard trade novel (although thicker than the original 'Salem's trade first)
Quality of the paper used is higher than standard and two colour printing is used in places (Chapter headings for example). There is also a UK 1st edition of this book, (published by Hodder & Stoughton), which is identical in content, but of a much lower quality (single colour, standard paper - image reproduction suffers because of this).

There is a new (I think 3 page) introduction from King, that discusses how the original book came to be published but doesn't discuss this particular edition or the CP edition directly. As to the inclusion of additional text like the CP version, I have never actually compared the two, so I cant say for sure.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
