Issue price $7.95 Comments: Quarter bound in black cloth with red boards having white pastedowns. 20,000 First Printing. Copyright page states: “FIRST EDITION.” Gutter code Q37 on page on page 439. First state dust jacket has retail price of $8.95 and says “Father Cody” on flap. Only a handful of these are known to exist. Second state dust jacket has $8.95 price clipped, and $7.95 is printed along with “Father Cody” on flap. Third state dust jacket has $7.95 unclipped and the correct name “Father Callahan” on flap. |
