Once again, a S/L Stephen King book is revealed very late in the day. This time It's a UK only special edition, published by Hodder and Stoughton via their relatively unknown Special Edition Books subsidiary.
The usual SNAFU occurred with multiple UK booksellers mistakenly allowing order links to appear which were then cancelled, in addition more confusion was sown when H&S told enquirers that this publication had been abandoned, only to have it come on sale the next day. The actual link to buy the book went live around 13:20 on 26th July. The book most likely sold out within 30–40 mins, but the website allowed people to continue ordering, leading to disappointed buyers getting cancelled orders. Due to regional licensing, the book was not available for shipping to the USA or Canada.
