Simply breath taking
Title: The Plant
Author: Stephen King
Artist: Designed by Michael Alpert
Publisher: Philtrum
Year: 1982/1983/1985
State: Chapbook. Issue Price: Free
Comments: 26 Lettered and 200 numbered copies. Undetermined number of unsigned/ unnumbered out of series copies. In lieu of Christmas cards (King felt them to be insincere) King’s private press Philtrum published this tale told in epistolary form and sent them to recipients on King’s Christmas list. After the third installment, King felt the story too closely resembled Little Shop of Horrors and halted the production.
Beginning in 2000 King published the work as an electronic serial, with payment based upon an honesty system. For more info: The Plant

Just a quick announcement on this. I wanted to make sure you guys knew we hadn't forgotten about it.
Aaron and I spoke at length about some ideas last night but he had to go because Grey's Anatomy was coming on.
So I will let him spell out the details of the "finished product" when he gets the chance. Obviously there is no reason to create the most comprehensive King catalog on the net without taking the time to do it right.
So for the time being, each of the images Jerome and others so painstakingly posted in this thread will be divided into its own thread. The information will be converted to a wiki format and locked up because there the images are basically visual and for research.
This is a way to preserve them individually until our overall plan to create a graphic representation of them is realized.
This thread will always remain on the site because it is just to full of amazing information all in one place and its great to have a back up of the images and text.

Excellent.
Thanks Matt. (And Aaron).
Sounds good to me, Matt. I've wanted a quick way to get to a specific book. That will do it!
John
Thanks you guys, the "wiki" subforum will be right here and I am going to move this thread into it.
