"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Can anyone shed some light on the different variations of this book.
I was under the impression there were only 2 limited variants, the 75 limitation with silver boards and the 400 limitation with black boards. however I have seen a number of books that are 'x of 200' they also have black boards and appear identical to the 400 limitation.
Did it start off as a 200 limitation and then get increased to 400 or is this a completely separate variant?

Series C came with dust jacket 1/200 #18
.
Series B also came with dust jacket 1/125 #22
Series A came without dust jacket 1/75 #6
Ok, so now i'm even more confused? are you saying series B was a 125 limitation?
What about the 400 limitation? is that a series D ???

C series 200
B series 125
A series 75
Total 400
Check out the image of my book in the article - it states 56 of 400. I cant see how the numbering would work if there are 3 separate series?
Also Bruce, it looks like you have posted the same cp for 18 of 200 twice? should one of these be the B series c/p ?

All I can tell you is it looks like Mr. Terrell decided to change the limitation sometime later to sell more books. All the books are the same except for the color of the boards and all the limitation numbers are inked in.
I guess students are not the only ones to cheat.
