Note: In 1994, as part of a promotion to benefit small bookstores, King rode cross country on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, stopping along the way to read from his latest release-Insomnia. King signed several hundred copies at each store along the tour. The inspiration for Desperation/The Regulators came during a lonley desolate stretch and stop in a deserted town on U.S. Highway 50 in Nevada.
