No - other books didn't have them individually - just a large one to house all 3 - guess bill wasn't sure of price point and adding an individual case woulda increased prices (I guess).
so there have been large once to hose all three for the first 2, 3-book-sets ?

I don't think there were any cases for the blade itself trilogy, none for the stand alone books like red country or the heroes; so my assumption is this was the first series to have a slipcase offered

    What should I do ????
Q1 - Do you own these books? If yes, proceed to Q2. If no, don't buy.

Q2 - Do you want a nice slipcase to keep them in? If yes, proceed to Q3. If no, don't buy.

Q3 - Are you prepared to spend $75 on aforementioned nice slipcase? If yes, BUY! If no, don't buy

    Hope this helps ;-)
Q3 has room for logical improvement: "Q3 - are you prepared to spend $ 75 on aforementioned nice slipcase? If yes, BUY! If no, return to Q1"

37 copies remaining of the "Sharp ends" limited edition.

Hi all, I have all 6 The Blade Itself (all six books in the series) subpress books, numbered PC, that I need to sell. They have an additional signature, date and quote from the books on the title page and were from Joe Abercrombie's collection that he auctioned off for charity. All are in fine condition. I can email pics if anyone is interested.

    Thanks,
    Travis

Random question here. Does it add any value to you to have all 6 books published in First Law series to be a matching number ( SubPress) - as opposed to just the 3 core titles?

For me personally, yes, an additionally 10-15%. I do not have TBI from SP and the 5 that I do have are not matching. There are probably other threads that are relevant to your question.

Sorry for double-posting, but I just saw a matching set of the first 5 from SP for 850 USD BIN or BO here.

It seems to me that the matching sets can often be had for less than obtaining the books one a time with mismatched numbers.

Thank you! I ended up buying that set! I will have to add Red Country at a later date or hunt forever to find a match, lol

Congrats, I think you got a fair deal. Good luck with RC.

...and RC sold out not long ago from SP, so the prices are still low on the secondhand marked. Right now the best offer is probably the sale at camelotbooks.com for the original price of 80 USD. But with a little patience you might get a better price. One sold on ebay for 51 USD, auction-style 2 months back.

Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself s/l/d 1st/1st, very proud to have snagged this one.

    SP edition of The Heroes:

Legends from Newcon press, interestingly double signed by most authors (Abercrombie included) at their stories:

    SP Rogues:

And my first S/L of Abercrombie's works Swords & Dark Magic (a killer anthology, I must say) from SP.

Most of these aren't so recent, to be honest. Just a bit lazy when it comes to updating my collections, haha. Thanks for the comments though!

    Hi everyone, 1st post

I have all the SP Limited editions of Joe's work except The Blade Itself and the Heroes.
I just realized the Heroes is still not sold out on the website.
I wonder if I can get my number if I order now.

Probably not unless you have a number set. But it never hurts to ask. Check camelotbooks.com too if not.

I have a numbered set. I still had the same number for the Shattered Sea trilogy which were published later but just forgot to order the Heroes.
But yeah, I'll just ask I guess.

Joe Abercrombie also has a short story within 'Unbound' by Grim Oak Press. The signed and numbered editions are due out soon.

I recently found out that Anderida Books in the UK are offering exclusive signed and numbered copies of the 10th Anniversary edition of 'The Blade Itself' (limited to 200)

    http://www.anderidabooks.co.uk/si/29...PRE-ORDER.html

(they also have a few other signed editions available on their site).
