Started Why Women Kill on Paramount+, such a great series, very funny, and the cutting between the three time periods is so expertly done! Loving it so far.

I enjoyed it as well! I know I'm in the minority at this point, but I like the weekly format of shows like this. There's something to be said for looking forward to watching something every week. I kind of miss that. I had a lot of fun looking forward to HBO's Perry Mason last year.
So far, so good regarding, East town. I really enjoyed, Perry Mason!!! Any word on a second season?

Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

There will be a season 2 of Perry Mason coming. There will be new showrunners, which is odd.

Finished the final season of Homeland last night. I'm pretty satisfied with how they left things, and where the main characters ended up. They kept me guessing about how it was going to end, that's for sure. Overall, Homeland is probably in my Top 10 TV series.

I gave up on Debris. I watched four episodes and had five more sitting on the DVR. It was starting to feel like a chore, so I quit. It was getting a little repetitive with the "what magical thing will the alien debris do NOW?" case-of-the-week thing.

I really really miss John Singleton. His artistic stamp is all over that show. It is a shame that he passed and cant give us any more films/projects

I almost bailed on Homeland and I'm so glad I didn't. After the first two episodes of that final season, things really take off and that season ends up being amazing with a very satisfying ending. Some of the middle seasons of the franchise got a little repetitive and I still think they could have milked things with Brody for multiple seasons, but overall a very solid show.

Just discovered this new Indian series, it's only 11 episodes so maybe a second season is coming, but it's beautiful. Sadly, the trailer isn't subtitled, but the show (with subtitles) is streaming free here: https://www.altbalaji.com/show/the-married-woman/348

So they've been filming the new season of Dexter out by me. Finally got to drive by one of the locations the other day on their last day of filming there. They were shooting at a diner, and had it all set up for winter, tons of fake snow and Christmas lights outside. I think they've been filming at a lot of locations throughout the state.

I heard the comic/novels were so much better. I thought it was OK. So much whining from the younger generation made me roll my eyes. But it was OK, just OK.

    Mare of Easttown
On HBO Max and so far it is really good. Not as dark of a drama/thriller I gravitate to, but it is really really good. 4 episodes are all that is out there.

Only 6? I'm disappointed. Wish it was 10 episodes.

I wish! Just got to drive by and see the diner all set up for winter. Which was weird considering all the trees are blooming here now Didn't look like they were actively filming anything at that moment. Right down the road the crew took over a parking lot and had a bunch of tents set up, looked like they were serving food but not too many people there either.

I got one but it's not that great as we were driving when I took it. I'll see if I can figure out how to post it.

I loved Penny Dreadful, Mindhunter, Dark which were all pretty dark shows. I truly like Mare of Easttown, but I do love darker shows. Sure there is a dark undertone of this show, but it isn't like the others I mentioned.
