I wonder if Hitch knew a number one classic song would come from his film?

Every time I hear this song I instantly think of this movie.

It is a big part of why I do love this film so much. I remember someone on TCM telling the story of Hitch meeting Doris Day. They were at some party or event or something and Hitch noticed her but had never met her. He approached her and said "You're Doris Day" almost as a question rather than a statement and she said yes and he said "You can act, call me and we'll do a movie together" and that's how that happened. LOL I love Doris Day, it's amazing how many opportunities she passed on because of her fear of flying but I think she did pretty well for herself.
