Can't believe how badly The Philadelphia Story is losing. Double Indemnity is great of course, but this is one of the best comedies of all time.

    Yeah. I'm really surprised.

10-15 years ago, I wanted to give my wife a taste of what "classic American cinema" had to offer. The names Stewart, Grant, Hepburn mean nothing to her. Out of all the movies I could have picked--I chose The Philadelphia Story as the best example.

I might expect this movie to lose heads-up against a worthy opponent, but not get totally schneidered like this.

The poll has closed. Double Indemnity moves on and The Philadelphia Story is eliminated.
