Also, what I love about the world of film is that no matter how much you immerse yourself in it, you still find stuff you aren't familiar with. I came across a 2011 film called The Flowers of War. Not only is it a war movie, which I love, but it also stars Christian Bale! How the hell did that fly under the radar?

I think it goes back to the Constant Reader Awards actually, when I would post two polls a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to space things out. Since we have four polls a week during these tournaments, I kinda kept to the same structure.

Aw I couldn't hate you! Thanks for giving it a try, though. It was a highly emotional experience for me but I can understand how if you're not into comics and these characters it might seem silly or boring. Still, I think you'll like Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, even though it wasn't seconded.

I already voted in the first 8 polls before you even voted in them actually. But to answer your question, my life does not revolve around this tournament. I have commitments and obligations in the real world too.

An interesting supposition, but utter bollocks. As mentioned above, I already voted for the films that I either nominated or seconded in the first 8 polls. I don't see how voting for 1 - 3 films out of a maximum of 6 votes manipulates the polls or gives any indication as to what I might or might not prefer.

But hey, I have already been accused of running a burner account to fix the results of this tournament so why not add a few more conspiracy theories into the mix.
