The what, the what and the what?
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

I'd agree with Mae. I think Spaceballs is one of Mel Brooks lesser films. Not as godawful as Men In Tights but nowhere near the humor and quality of High Anxiety, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of The World and Silent Movie.

Thank you! And if you haven't seen it, or it's been a long time, it's streaming free on Tubi: https://tubitv.com/movies/475910/elv...ss_of_the_dark

I just rewatched it recently after a very long time and had a greater appreciation. In addition to being very very funny with clever jokes and gags, it's also a feminist film. Not something you would think looking at it as just an '80s horror comedy and Elvira's prominently-featured boobs, but it's true. Watching it recently, I couldn't help but admire Cassandra Peterson. She is an icon!

I agree. I really enjoyed Spaceballs, but if I had to choose one I'd choose Elvira. That movie is so entertaining.

    Plus it's got Gonk
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
