IwtV had its moment. It was a seminal work, reviving the gothic in a postmodern era and altering the course of popular literature for a time. But that time has passed, and the genre has faltered into mere Twilight cults.
Charlotte's Web is an all time classic. Masterpiece transcending children's genre. I wish I could vote for it again.
