After at least 5 separate signings in the US (and I think he travelled to the UK to promote this book) King once picked up a copy of Bag of Bones, looked at the title page and said something like "Oh! This one of the rare unsigned copies."
Salem's Lot prints at $240....that is over $30 PER PRINT...
Unsigned Gift edition I've seen perfect book go for $300
Add prints (round number) $250
Coveted traycase from The Collector might fetch $300
You are talking $850 for the package? Crazy to me....Maybe 5 years ago the COMPLETE package of all 3 could be had for $350
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Not my thing, but I suspect of interest to many here: (Intro by Stephen King)
Stephen-King-Joey-Froehlich-The-Fuel-of-Tender-Years-1996-chapbook
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Although it was published in 1996 most of us in the King collecting community first heard of it in 2000. It was an extremely hot item, difficult to find and sometimes selling for high prices for a while and then interest died down. I still think it is an interesting item and have often wondered how the author convinced King to write an intro for such an obscure collection.
Cool hoodie.
