I really like this group of movies. Pan's Labyrinth was very cool, dark, and magical and may be my favorite movie in this group. However The Shining and Jacob's Ladder are creepier and each seem to have more elements of a good horror movie. Hmmm...
The Shining should get through so I gave my love to Blair Witch. It wasn't an easy choice though, considering Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms.

Blair Witch is one of the best, and creepiest, horror movies ever
Pan's Labyrinth is one of the best films ever
I will have to vote the latter, although it is not fair, because it has nothing in common with horrors

bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trailers, everybody:
I went with Hellraiser. It scared the shit out of me when I first saw it and made me feel dirty from just watching it.
Also, regardless of what Stephen King thinks, The Shining is a great film, very scary. And that's a brilliantly creepy trailer, too.
I was scared only by one scene there. But I have to admit, I was very scared. Namely,

The Shining obviously, its my number 1 horror film. Still scares me to this day.

Phantoms still creeps the bejeesus out of me. It is one of my all time favorite horror films.
Hellraiser is a classic.
Jacob's Ladder is amazing.
The Shining... what can I say about it that hasn't been said already? Simply one of the greatest films ever made, horror or otherwise.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck this group.
Vote Hellraiser, please, or Pinhead will tear your soul apart
The votes are spread all over the place for this one.

This is a tough group, I want to vote for half of them. But I have to go with The Shining, it's not the book but it is one hell of a great movie!
Only Hellraiser I liked was Bloodline.

I like a lot of these. I almost voted for Blaire Witch, just because it is iconic in the genre. The faux documentary aspect of it is very effective. I think most people bought into it when it first came out, I know I did. Did anyone watch the fake documentary that came with the DVD for Blaire Witch? I think I enjoyed that even more than the movie itself.

I didn't even know! Sounds interesting. I don't think I'll watch anything Blaire-Witch connected any time soon, though. It somehow got me. I am still sick with horror even thinking about it.

Wow, lots of great movies here. I had to vote for Jacob's Ladder.
never thought it was a horror movie...
on the other hand, bears have voted for Pan's Labirynth, which is hardly one, either

And still just my vote for Hellraiser, a classic, and one of the scariest films in this entire tournament.
Thanks to whoever gave Hellraiser its second vote but we need one more for it to have a chance to me on!
Oh man, a 5 way tie for the last two berths!
Poll closes today at 1!
So we have a five-way tie for second and third, crazy.
