As long as he has his sword hilts to molest o.O

I agree about the wolves! Where the hell are they?
They are kind of just a little important in the books but non existent. Especially this season
Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.
We saw Ghost in the first episode saving Samwell. We saw Shaggy and Summer in like the second episode. I honestly can't even remember seeing Greywind. Forget about Nymeria. The show doesn't want to even bother confusing people with the wolf dreams, which is kind of understandable.

The absence of wolves isn't bothering me overmuch. I wasn't really happy with how they looked and it's just more budget money when they're already strained. Also, they've already cut a lot of the nuances from the books, so I thinkSpoiler:

I can see what you guys mean, and it makes sense. Doesn't make me not hate it though.
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."

Now that you're talking about it, I'm wondering how they'll show Arya seeingSpoiler:
I had my infatuations, but we both know in our hearts who is the sole love of my short, bright life.
Just watched episode 7, and I want them to skip ahead to... you know. This episode was incredibly boring. I don't appreciate all the changes they're making, either. All the nonsense with Robb's wife needs to end. I could probably tune out until the last episode and not miss anything. Also, seriously Osha, get the hell out of here. You're not supposed to be here and all you do is bitch at Bran.
I'm wondering how they do the casting call for the hundreds of naked women in this series. Is that what they normally do for work? Are they professional naked women extras? Do they have careers after this? Yes, the episode was so unimpressive I was considering the extras' career paths because that has to be more interesting.

And episode 8... can we just make this the All Tyrion Channel? Love him.
I really hope the actor who plays Joffrey continues to act and eventually becomes Lucius Malfoy in a Harry Potter remake. That is my new dream. Unfortunately Matt tells me he doesn't want to act anymore after this show. He's just so great at being a shit, I'd love to see him do something else.
Wow, Daario reminds me of when Fabio used to do those I Can't Believe It's Not Butter commercials. I thought the guy playing Mero was going to be Daario, that would have been awesome.

I actually loved the last episode, and I think it redeemed the preceeding 2 a lot. I agree about Osha. Also, Shae has done porn, FYI. I'm pretty sure it's been discussed here.
i am so glad they didn't do Daario the way he is described in the books.
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
Well, I went into convulsions because it wasn't on last night!
Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.
Well, Shae aside, because she actually has some acting to do. I'm more wondering about the girls who are in the brothel or whatever.
For Daario, I can see why they didn't do his appearance exactly like the books, but I still see him as a completely different person than this actor. More rugged, I suppose. This actor is just too pretty, he could be an elf in Lord of the Rings or something.
A lady always remembers her courtesies.
yeah, he's pretty alright, PRETTY LETHAL WITH A BLADE, YO! Did you not see those heads he took?
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
I imagined him as a pretty boy.

I haven't seen it yet, but I read the books and everyone's talking about it, so I'll post anyway.
I'm really surprised they didn't save this for the finale. How are they going to top that? UnlessSpoiler:
A lady always remembers her courtesies.
Brutal. Incoherent rage, especially at those Frey cowards that shot the penned dire wolf.
I'm also surprised they didn't end the season with the Red Wedding being the finale. I thought that would have been a great finale. I guess they probably thought it would be too much of a downer. That's why I think you might be right about how you think they are going to end season 3. That being said, I would milk it longer and end season 4 that way.
I thought the wedding was portrayed as well as you could do it on TV. That chapter in the book is so good because of the way it builds tension and Martin really sets the atmosphere so well with the way the music was being played and the cramped conditions. I really thought they did a nice job of portraying how fast things turned. Really heart-breaking chapter and an equally heart-breaking episode.

At least we saw some wolves this time!
And, I must admit...

I thought it was well done. Would have liked for Grey Wind to go out fighting too! Also thought there should have been massive tent fires outside and more mayhem
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Hey, in the books Bolton says "Jaime Lannister sends his regards" instead of "The Lannisters send their regards" ... does this deviate anything?
Also, minor complaint but it would have been cool to see The Hound riding up on Arya like in the book, not knowing if he's going to ride her down or save her before he finally does the latter.
