David, those are fantastic.
I kind of laughed when I saw that Phil Hale signed the prelim sketch for the remarque, but not all of the actual remarques!

Just awesome David. Nice to see you adding special pieces to your own collection, while helping us out with ours....
Thanks for showing us, David. Awesome. One question though ...
Sex?
Shannon...hard to tell if you are joking or not.....Eddie pushing Susannah/Detta in her wheelchair across the sand...little notation I believe says unbalance.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
lol nope, wasn't joking. I completely didn't see Eddie pushing the wheelchair, but rather a man standing behind a bent-over woman with his hands on the small of her back and her ass pushed into his crotch. How's that for a Rorschach test? lol
Love the set David, really fantastic. Congratulations!

Dare we ask how much the financial damage was? (approximately)

"Dare we ask how much the financial damage was? (approximately)"
I always wonder this question, yet I do not ask it. It's kind of like asking "How much money do you have in your bank account and wallet at this very moment?" It's very personal. I would imagine the damage is pretty high, though.
The damage was far far LESS than what you might guess.....I'd have to say roughly $50 per image I think comes close (Including BOTH the original DT II sketches and all the remarque sketches).
You are right though....I often want to ask.."How much did you pay for that" My opinion, rude or not, it is your right to ASK the question although you may not ALWAYS get an answer...so with me...ask away.

I see no problem with asking the question. It's just a question for heaven's sake, it's not like they are holding a gun to your head and making you tell. If you don't want to tell then politely say so, or if you don't mind that person knowing send them a PM. But again, it's just an innocent question.
Do people here really think that when someone like Shannon asks this question there is any malice involved? I would ask the question myself if I was interested in the answer, sorry to any here that feel offended by an innocent question.
Christine
Maybe it is because I was raised in a different (earlier) time but I was taught that it was rude (maybe not quite the right word...inappropriate, maybe?) to ask someone how much they paid for something. Not saying I have never done it because I have. But really it is none of my business what someone paid for something.
Here are a few opinions on the subject.....
