Thought some of you might be interested in this book as there are some similarities to The Dark Tower. Admittedly, it's a bit hard for me to get through--I've only been able to read a couple of chapters per day. It's about a boy who gets stranded in sort of a "fairy tale"-type world that plays off various myths and legends.
One of the biggest connections is that there's a character called Roland based off Browning's poem, although he's depicted as more of a traditional knight. So some of you might get a kick out of that.
