It wasn't easy to choose but ola's is the most frightening for me so I voted for it.

Calla-esque man/beast eating cactuses? Looking for what has the looks to play the part, boehmke, with ola a close second mainly for Andy The Messenger's wonderful interpretation.

i'm having a tough time deciding between ola's and heather's. i've long been a fan of the way heather uses shading. she really gets so much from a simple pencil and sheet of paper. ola's is probably the most like what i picture in my head when reading about the plant, plus i love her inclusion of andy and slightman the elder. will have to think some more.
Ola's reminds me of the trees in The Wizard of Oz. Freakin' scary.
I had to go with boehmke's though, as I am a huge fan of his work. It wasn't easy, though.
