Never Read
Love, love LOVE this story!! A definate 5!! And my first 5 so far.
Once again we agree, Darkthoughts. As a slow reader, I blazed through this novel in under a week. Nearly record-time.
I've never read this one. I keep an eye out for it at the BMV but never see it.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”-Mark Twain
Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me....Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.
-Shel Silverstein
This is a 4 for me.
Rainbird would be worth a 5, but the novel overall doesn't quite make it.
It was good.

This one garners a 5 from me as well. It is one of King's best works to date. Not going to win the whole thing, but still one of his best. I just wish I had the limited edition.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.

This is an excellent book in my opinion. The subject King has chosen in this one is totally unusual and that's what made its worth
I *just* finished a reread of this the other day, and I have to say it's a solid 3 IMHO. Not spectacular, but not bad, either.
"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard
"You needn't die happy when your day comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from beginning to end and ka is always served." ~ Roland Deschain
I started this book, lost it halfway through, found it again, and liked it. I can't say i love it, quite a bit of it seemed dull, but it's a lovely read (>^^)>
only so-so. I found it spectacularly boring.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this from start to finish.
The characters really made themselves at home in my mind.
A 4 for certain.
Well I guess I'm going to have to read this one sometime soon. I probably picked up a copy of this book over 10 years ago, I think it was one of the first few King books I bought, but for some reason never read it. I started it once when I got it but only got a few pages in, and it's been sitting on my bookshelf ever since.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
another book that i haven't reread in probably 10 years yet i still remember like i read it yesterday. a five for sure!
Haven't read it yet, don't own it, haven't even seen the movie. Someday...
