NEW US TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT: Creepshow 2 Limited Edition Blu-ray + Standard Blu-ray
one of the greatest horror anthologies of all time.
Unleashed December 13th. North American Blu-ray pre-order link should be live soon!
WHEN THE CURTAIN GOES UP THE TERROR BEGINS
Horror titans George A. Romero and Stephen King deliver yet another fiendish selection of blood-curdling tales in Creepshow 2 – now newly remastered in 2K!
In “Old Chief Wood'nhead”, a group of young hoodlums face retribution from an unlikely source after looting a local hardware store. Meanwhile, “The Raft” sees a group of horny teens wishing they’d read the warning signs first before taking a dip in a remote lake. Finally, an uptight businesswoman finds herself with some unwanted company following a hit-and-run incident in “The Hitch-hiker”.
Whilst retaining the EC comic book flavour that made the original such a hit, Creepshow 2, this time directed by long-time Romero collaborator Michael Gornick, is a decidedly darker and grimmer affair than its predecessor and remains one of the greatest horror anthologies of all time.

Storm of the Century apparently also coming to blu-ray soon. No details yet but a cover has shown up:
I just pre-ordered IT, Cat's Eye, and 'Salem's Lot (first movie) from Amazon earlier in the week. I will order Storm of the Centry when it's available. I also ordered Creepshow 2. I didn't order the versions with shirts. I can't see paying $30 for a cheap shirt.
Salem's Lot in Bluray?

Not a huge deal but apparently the IT Blu-ray cuts off the first couple of minutes of the second part where Bill checks in at the hotel as the DVD did. I don't know what's preventing them from using the original cuts as they aired.

A huge review of Pinfall, the deleted story from Creepshow 2, included as a comic adaptation in the recent blu-ray set:

And if i remember correctly, PINFALL was NOT actually written by King

It was written by King but not as a prose story, but as a scenario for Romero to turn into a screenplay. King did the same with Old Chief Woodn'head, The Hitch-Hiker and the wrap-around story for Creepshow 2.

In horror, one name reigns supreme.
The most adorably charming cover art ever is plastered on front of the forthcoming King of Horror Collection Blu-ray set, which will be available on August 29. The set includes four of the most beloved adaptations of King’s stories, and the art mashes together iconic elements from each of them.
There’s a cat from Cat’s Eye. A balloon from IT. The house from Salem’s Lot. And the infamous “Redrum” door from The Shining. I really hope the Photoshop artist made a lot of money for this. Cause it’s amazing. Read on for everything you need to know!
Experience ultimate fear in one 4-film collection! Films include: Salem’s Lot (1979), The Shining (1980), Stephen King’s Cat’s Eye (1985) and Stephen King’s It (1990).

Kind of a random selection (obviously its because WB owns the rights to these specific films). Still kudos I suppose in marketing The Shining as a King film, 9 times out of 10 people conveniently neglect to mention who wrote the original story and act like Kubrick did it from the ground up.

Can anyone who owns these movies in other forms/formats comment on how the special features here compare against what is available in those other forms/formats?
You can't be aloof until you advertise.
From what I've read all of those features are on the DVDs.

I might like this 4-film Blu-Ray, but I wouldn't want to if the stand-alone It (for example) had more special features than this set.

Well looking at their Blu-ray.com entries they're all complete.
