Zorn easily claims at least 5 spots for me. Anything Masada is worth noting as fucking amazing. Good News is a nice album for people who like pop music. I like my Modest Mouse more like when I grew up with them.

My favorite bands can kick your favorite bands' asses.
The horizon is right and motionless like the EKG of a dying woman.
I don't have the new Modest Mouse, or else it would probably be on my list.
Damn, most of the music I got this year's from the nineties.
Big town's got its losers, small town's got its vices...
sjayon and fruno would probably be pleased with my picks, well except for the Green Day.
This would probably be my list -
1-10. The Wooden Birds - Magnolia.
That's because I've not listened to another album from this year.
Well it shouldn't surprise anyone here that my pick would easily be Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King by DMB. I still listen to it on a regular basis, and I haven't done that with one of their studio albums in quite some time.
I'd also add Bon Iver's Blood Bank EP to my list.
And that's all I can think of at the moment because the other few new albums that I've picked up I wouldn't rank in any top 10 list.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
