I think I've seen 3 The Green Mile gift editions in the last couple weeks but I've been saving my money for my personal holy grail and some S/Ls so I passed on those. One ended just today for $100 but seller didn't have a quote for international shipping. I stay away from listings that say 'shipping to be determined after auction' because that can be anything really.

Yeah, I've seen the other DT jackets at Grant, I've just been keeping an eye out for The Waste Lands. I could always buy a mint book for $50-$60, but I'm not quite that desperate yet.

I picked up a GM gift on eBay the other day for almost 1/2 of retail (near-mint), so they can be found fairly cheap! This one is not quite that cheap, but has no bids yet with one day to go: http://cgi.ebay.com/Stephen-Kings-Gr...item2eb2033b96. As a last resort, I think they are still "in-print" with the publisher if you want to guarantee a new copy.

I think I'll pass on that price. I might as well buy it brand new. With gift editions it's a waiting game. There's a good chance the seller will relist the book at a lower price if it doesn't sell this time. If it does... oh well, there's always the next one coming.

Stay away from it. Not that the sig is bad, but the "gifter" inscribed the book-not King. In my mind it devalues the book by 50% or more. Estimated value $99.

So i have becom somewhat interested in King signed limitation pages. I know there are always extras produced and signed and where these go who knows. Seems people end up with them and eventually (or not) sell them. I have managed to get one from Six Stories, and The Stand. I picked up the signed Insomnia print. I really like these and would love more. Does anyone have any others they are willing to sell or know of. If so please let me know !
