The Carrie ARC is not very hard to find, fortunately. You'll get one if you want to. I owned a few different copies and the cheapest one I got was $500 (it was a while ago, though).
I'd have to agree that they do seem to pop up fairly regularly. I looked for one for awhile as well, seems like after I found it (from a member here) I started to see more of them come available. Not the crazy-stupid priced ones either, I don't even bother with those. I'll keep an eye out for you too Jeremy!
