Perhaps I should have used the word Ka instead of Fate, its just that that is always how that word has always easiest translated for me. But I knew what you were getting at.

Sure, didn't mean to insult your intelligence. I'm well aware that you're familiar with the Old Norse mythos. Not sure exactly how conscious you were being about the differences in the ancient Greek ideas, which I more associate with the word "fate." We've had a lot of controversy on this site about ka, and I just wanted to express things as well as possible for all concerned.

(BTW, still thinking about best examples I could give of my own strange desires.)

Maybe it just qualifies as a strange desire to me because of how much the desire registers to me on a daily basis? Maybe that's why it seems so strange to me?
