Thanks guys.
I received another batch of Underwood/Miller material, including this note from Robert Bloch to Tim Underwood:
Thanks guys.
I received another batch of Underwood/Miller material, including this note from Robert Bloch to Tim Underwood:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Brilliant stuff, and I love this Bloch letter...
Typeset pages for U/M's edition of TO LIVE FOREVER by Jack Vance:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Cool stuff, Steve!
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
Thanks again guys.
More TO LIVE FOREVER material, uncut page sheets with notations (presumably by Chuck Miller):
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Very cool, Steve
Great additions! Congratulations!
Thanks again!
Even more Chuck Miller items, THE AUGMENTED AGENT uncut page sheets with extra Vance signature page for the 11 copy leather edition (which I really, really, really times ten to the tenth power wish I had!):
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Very nice new stuff!!! Super jealous of those Sleeping Beauty ARCS!
Good stuff, congrats

Thanks, I like the ARCs too!
More Vance stuff, color separations for TRULLION, WYST and MARUNE, the ALASTOR trilogy. Pictures can't do them justice:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Cool stuff, Steve!

More unused U/M Vance dust jackets:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Love those DJs!
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
I bought a 10 X 24 inch frame, put all the dust jackets in it, and hung it on the wall. It looks nice.
This is the contract between Vance and U/M for the rights to reprint TO LIVE FOREVER, with Vance's and other parties signatures. I blotted out his social security number, although I doubt it makes any difference now:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
FEAST OF FEAR jacket cut-out (not sure what the purpose of this was), plus extra signed sheets of various Vance U/M lettered editions:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
You found the motherlode of U/M collectibles and are now a Jack Vance supercollector. Congratulations on all the new additions. Very hard to find and cool pieces. I love all the prepublication stuff, too!
Thanks, I should have more coming this year.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Holy moly, you've found the Jack Vance/U-M ephemera jackpot! Very nice stuff, and very cool to see this.
Thanks!
I decided I didn't have enough Stephen King books, so I bought another one. It is not signed, numbered, lettered, rare, hard to find, gilt edged, limited, boxed, slip-cased, shrink-wrapped, specially bound, smyth sewn, or the original first edition, but I like it anyway:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Nice. If you’re a completist, you will want to look out for the 2nd printing of that one. There will be a line on the copyright page that does not appear on the 1st printing.
I'll keep my dragon eyes open for it, but I had to order this from Amazon, I couldn't find it around here.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Cool stuff, Steve!

I finally bought one of the three Bloch lettered books I didn't have, THE FEAR PLANET (I hope! ROBERT BLOCH'S PSYCHOS being the other one.) And I hope to snag another soon: This is copy E of 26 lettered copies, with the book on the shelf, and what started out as my Ellison lettered shelf that soon got crowded. I think there are 5 lettered editions stuffed in there somewhere:
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Bloch! I love it, Steve. Fear Planet - Is that a compilation of his works? Amazing stuff...
