Hey Ewald, great to see you here as well and good to see that you've already created your own collection thread. Love it!
Here is the 1e ed. paperback of "Misery". This opne has a second cover, known as "Misery's Return". Later paperbacks didn't have this beautiful second cover.
Do you recognize Stephen King as the hunk next to Misery?
This is also special. This first ed. paperback is the only one WITHOUT the name of Stephen King on the front cover. There was no need, because the writer wasn't that famous. Later on he became famous enough!
This is my real treasure:
The presentation copy of Dolan's Cadillac. One out of 25 un-numbered but signed copies.
This one follows the binding of the Limited edition (1,000 copies).
My childrens favourite:
The pop-up book.
Here an original UK-paperback from Richard Bachman. Long before they found out the truth ...
Do you have the US version of Roadwork as well, Ewald? I'm still looking for that one.
Here the signed limited Bag of Bones. It is the UK limited bookplate-edition.
It is nr. 98/2000.
Here my Night Shift signed paperback:
My signed slipcased limited edition of "The Colorado Kid". Nr. 129/150.
The slipcased Christmas edition of Dolores Claiborne, with (fascimile) blue signature of Stephen King.
A nice imprint of Dolores in her rockin' chair.
Here are some specialties:
This is a CD with music from the movie IT.
This is a limited edition paperweight. There were only 500 of these.
This is an official beer-label. The beer was brewed by Estes Park Brewery .
Here are my slipcased gift editions:
Here a calendar of the Polish artist Darek Kocurek. This one was based on the Dark Tower.
This is a nice one to end this (first) presentation with:
Very nice! Congratulations!
I've been collecting the different printed editions of Riding the bullet and I have the dutch's blue one, but didn't knew about the other two.
Wanted list:
Ubris
The Large Letter Book could be ordered here: http://www.groteletter.nl/boekwinkel...earch=Achtbaan
The green linen version is hard to find, but could perhaps be obtained on www.marktplaats.nl
That is however een Dutch national buying/selling site, but ... you never know
Great stuff, ewald.
That calendar artwork is so small, can you post a larger picture of it?
Cool!
Here is the Dutch "Dolan's Cadillac":
As far as I know this is worldwide the only "normal" edition of this novelle. It was published for "The month of the thrilling books" in the Netherlands. It is a small paperback from 1992.
