"It's his eyes, Roland thought. They were wide and terrible, the eyes of a dragon in human form" - Roland seeing the Crimson King for the first time.
"When the King comes and the Tower falls, sai, all such pretty things as yours will be broken. Then there will be darkness and nothing but the howl of Discordia and the cries of the can toi" - From Song of Susannah
You can't say no to a bit of length and girth...
I'm glad I'm here for you Lisa.
Whoever told you you had a fat one, LaChance?
the worst one may just be DT7.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeee
Hmm, I never in my life thought somebody would think Tommyknockers or Thinner is better than DT7. Whoa.
To each his own, I guess.

bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know about worst ... but I've been trying to read "Lisey's Story" for the past year, and it's the first time I haven't been able to get into a Stephen King novel. Everything else I've devoured in no more than a week, but I just don't enjoy this one. I'm curious about trying Duma Key sometime, though, but am not sure I want to buy it. It might be a library read. Maybe an audiobook for a road trip.

You boys.
I'm rereading all my King now. Insomnia was not a big winner for me the first time around, but now that I've become a DT geek it's possible I may enjoy it more on a reread.
Only time will tell.

Insomnia.
Needful things.
(for me )
Look at me thus. Thy glance is mad and rare.
Thine eyes show deep and wild and inner strife.
How they are more than Horror fair!
-Alexander Search
i loved needful things. mr gaunt is among my fav characters of king's.
bc it won't put out
Damn, I read Needful Things when it first came out and haven't read it since. I think that may need a re-read. I remember liking it though.
I've mentioned this before but it took me three times to actually be able to finish Insomnia. I got it when it first released in hardcover and I only first finished it last year. I pushed my way through only after reading DT7 and talking with other DT junkies. I hope that someday I can say that it isn't one of King's worst novels.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Cell sucked.
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
Amen, brother.

I thought you were going to disagree with me , Dags. Here I was, coming in with an upside down smirk and a spork in my hand, ready to dish out fiery pain!
I'm glad it didn't come to that
Nice try, though.
