Is there official rules to what are legal clues? For example, given pill as the answer, would "ow" have been a legal clue? (i.e. pillow), I assume compound words are ok.


Might need an explanation on the clues for pill. Without using google, I was only familiar with 6 of the 13 clues.

Probably not as "ow" isn't a word and adding "pill" to it doesn't make a compound word or two words. But don't sweat it too much, we won't send out goons to break your legs. We prefer to break fingers.

No problem with compound words so far, and I tend to put the hardest clues first (funner that way )
And yes, I do use google a lot once I have a particular word picked out. Some I had never heard of either.

My apologies for not giving a proper response sooner but I am still quite sick but feel a bit better today.

Nope, but wanted to say I like your signature. Cool that the brain can figure it out. Have you seen that most people can read a paragraph even if the spelling of every word is rearranged as long as the first and last letters stay the same?
