hmmm, I haven't seen all these movies, but of the ones I have I wouldn't rank them anywhere close to being my favorite. I'll have to think about it. I might just pass voting in this round.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
How can I be expected to pick between Juno, Sarah Conner and Michael Corleone?!?
Oh, the humanity !!!

sarah connor.
Oh, this is killing me.
My first thought was, indeed, Sarah Connor, but I love Juno. And Michael Corleone? I quote him at least once a week!
Grrrrrrrrr.

Wow, I guess I really do have to get around to watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I never realized it was that popular.

Okay, I slept on it and went with Sarah Connor. I had to. The character is just awesome and so are her arms.

I know. You know I know. I know you know I know. We know Henry knows, and Henry knows we know it. {smiles} We're a knowledgeable family.
It'll take a lot more than words and guns,
A whole lot more than riches and muscle.
The hands of the many must join as one.
And together we'll cross the river.

I checked Best Buy today and they had Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas for like 30 bucks. I thought that was kind of a lot for a standard def DVD.
I will have to catch it when it comes On Demand. Actually, I will probably just borrow it from my cousin when I see him next.

There are other ways to make a great character than developing a good person.
Bill Munny is fascinating to me. His most admirable trait may be his own self-loathing. Most of his character development occurs offscreen, before the film's beginning, and other characters sort of steal the show. If not for the star power of Eastwood, and our awareness of his directing, the understated Munny might have meant less on a human level. Still, this is a truly deep character from a great script.
What fascinates me the most about Raoul Duke is his complete realization that he's on a relentless path to his own self destruction, and his complete indifference to it. One of his best lines in the movie is "I know it was a crime, I did it anyway. Shit, look at me, I'm a fucking criminal."
