Default Books with King Stories in them????

I think by accident I've started a sub-collection of books that have King short stories in them.....only because i find them for a buck or two and can't walk away from them. i think the 'first edition' disease is not going to matter in this.
God knows my girl encourages me to bring more $1 books home...

I would love if some scans of covers anyone has could be referenced here...
Of course all those fancy signed limited things are welcome and ya give me a picture of the fancy page with your number on it, but any book club editions or paper backs with cool covers are also welcome here.

Note the story included and perhaps the original book its from..Thanks!!!!

Here's a few of mine to start....

The Best of Fantasy Stories 1985 includes "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet" from Skeleton Crew.

Daarkman, check out my Collection of King proofs above in the Collections thread. I have proofs of more than 30 anthologies that contain a King story. There are literally hundreds of anthologies out there that contain a King story.

That's the first appearance in book form, right? I mean the F&SF mags predate that, don't they?

I collect anthologies with King stories too. My preference is first editions, but I buy them still even if they're book club or paperbacks.

And of course, I collect the proofs of these books. Not as diligently as the King book proofs themselves, however.

Yes but I believe the HC was first naturally. I got that for .99 cents.

Years Finest Fantasy Vol 2. - first appearance of the short story The Gunslinger, in book form
Gunslinger - DM Grant true 1st, all five stories in book form.

I'd say archive it, unless someone is willing to continually update it. King's stories seem to be reprinted quite often, and just keeping up with that is virtually impossible (unless you're Justin Brooks :-) )

Darkman ran into some financial problems I think (he was a successful professional photographer/music journalist I believe, I don't know what happened exactly) and the last thing I read here was that he was forced to sell his books and other collectibles. Haven't heard from him since, which is too bad. I liked him.
