Here's a better question for you Bev. Will YOU be selling any copies? If you are, I'd certainly buy one from you first.

Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.

I suspect there won't be any proofs, since Barnes & Noble takes a different approach to marketing these companions. They simply place a stack of them on tables at the front of the store in heavy traffic areas and the books essentially sell themselves. I don't believe they attempt to elicit reviews, for example.
I tried not to get too bogged down in one era since I had to pick and choose. I talk a little bit about the circumstances surrounding the publication of SL, but don't get into the book that much.
So I am assuming the book will be released in stores? I will look forward to it!

Can't wait....and Bev, i will be mailing mine to you for a signature!! And Probably Robert's too!
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
Be forewarned -- this sucker is going to weigh about 3 lbs based on a similar book, so postage ain't gonna be cheap!
This one's most definitely going into my collection. Sounds like a great tome, Bev!
This collecting stuff is a sickness! ~Patrick
Such a bargain, too. BN.com states it's out in October: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...=9781435117662
I wonder exactly what rarities await us.
Sounds like a cool book i'm a sucker for stuff like this, I bought your Dark Tower one but i've not read it (can't read it till i've finished the Dark Tower books can I lol). I have to say that the cover is excellent, very smart and classy.
When you say large, is that in terms of page count? or in terms of the dimensions of the page?, if the latter can you give us an estimated size?.
edit
I obviously don't read threads well, just noticed you have already posted the dimensions up above. I hope this will be available on Amazon, or is it B&N exclusive?.
It is a B&N exclusive. There's a chance it might be available in some of the club stores like Costco and Sam's Club, too, but Fall River Press is Barnes & Noble -- their imprint. The book was commissioned by them as part of their reader's companion series. (Previous books include one on Poe by Harry Lee Poe and one on Jane Austen). The books are absolutely gorgeous, high production values, and it's so much fun opening the little envelopes to discover what's inside. The documents and photo specialist on this one got very much into the game, and the envelopes may be decorated with a familiar icon. I haven't seen the final product yet, just the unbound pages.
I'll be dropping some hints as we get closer to publication date. Thanks for that link, by the way, though I don't know who this "Glatzer" person is they have down as the author.
Here's your first tidbit: A reproduction of the telegram King received from Doubleday announcing the sale of Carrie. Courtesy of someone you all know, at least in the virtual sense.
He also mentions in another post, that there will be (at least) one short story reproduced...
And, actually, some of the material above IS going to be reproduced in my upcoming book. One complete story and parts of another.

Any rough idea of the price?

CLUB STEPHEN KING (french website about STEPHEN KING, since 1992) : on : Facebook | Twitter | Instagram

I saw a price of $24.98 on Bev's site. But that's normal for B&N. They recently put out that huge HP Lovecraft book and it was something like thirteen bucks.
It'll be 176 pages. But big pages.

Will it be available for purchasing at amazon.com?

Since it's a Barnes & Noble book, probably only bn.com.
The link says the book is sold out.
The link is faulty in more ways than one. The book hasn't been published yet -- not until October/November.
