Sorry, don't see a chat room thread
No matter how or where I enter the chat room (float or otherwise) it still shows 0 users in chat room. And yes, I refreshed. If I just enter a lounge...I get a blank screen, if I enter float I get a blue screen that says "Jon, success, logging in..." ad infinitum.

If there is anyone else in chat and you click the link for chat the dropdown menu that appears where you choose how to enter chat should tell you how many are in there and also have a link to a page that tells you precisely who is in there before you enter. Maybe I'm not understanding your trouble totally though?
I mean when I go in alone...then open a new browser to surf .com to keep me occupied it shows "0 users in chat room" ...when I actually am. When I check "Whose chatting" it says "0 user(s) currently in chat." So I refresh time and again with the same results.

Okay, I've had the same thing happen on occasion. I'll let someone who understands these things better try to help you. I'm not so good at the tech stuff really (which is bad since it's my forum

I finally showed up...cold and alone! LOL.

I left, refreshed and it it shows one user chatting... but under "who" is says no user(s) chatting. LOL

There is a 5 minute interval between when you go in and when the cron running automatically on the site refreshes the list. Sometimes you hit just right and have to wait the whole time.
A way to solve it is to go in and then in your other browser click "who's chatting" and it should refresh.
It may also have a problem with two duel signons at the same time (two windows open), not sure about that.
