That is AWESOME Grill!! Definately my favourite piece of yours so far. I love the shading, its spot on - and the eyes are so lifelike - did you use paint to make the points of light in the eyes stand out so much? Is that all in pencil otherwise?

I drew entirely with a mechanical pencil. Smudged it a bit, the scanned it into photoshop. There, I used the eraser tool with a tiny diameter and 0 hardness and clicked just once over each eye where I had drawn the reflection...this really accented it and the 0 hardness made the erased area blend seamlessly into the eye.
Its a fantastic effect - the eyes on the right hand (looking at the picture) are especially lifelike. Again - good job!
