I don't think they would. As I recall, Books of Blood was several volumes with each volume containing several stories and that isn't what we're looking for. They were something like Secretary of Dreams, am I right?

Yeah, they were. I'd considered a few of Clive's, but wasn't sure they'd qualify so I abandoned them. They are brilliant though.
My second nomination is for The Sandman:World's End - Neil Gaiman.
It was one of my favourites of the series simply because of the idea of the travellers gathering from all other wheres and whens to exchange tales. It was a story about storytelling
