Ricky, my BFF went as a cloud one year. Your Smoke Monster costume is VERY doable with some pillow stuffing, garbage bags, coat hangers, paint, cardboard, glue, and assorted specifics. It'd be easy enough to download or rip the SM sounds to an MP3 player (or whatever), and with speakers small enough to attach to costumes these days... Ideally, however, you'd start sooner than October 5th.That is amazing on so many levels. So last weekend was Halloween weekend at a campground we like to go to. The kids get to dress up and go around and get extra candy from all the campers.
I was sitting outside near the campfire in my usual costume handing out candy. Most of the kids didn't mind it. 1 or 2 had gave me a few odd looks and didn't want to get too close.
One little girl probably 5 years old or so came up and after I gave her the candy her parents said "What do you say?"
She said "Thank you monster."
