I think my English level is very decent but this video made me question it. Any help with the following gaps is welcome

I really can't understand a thing between 0:35 and 0:46 (clips, bottom, spot on...).

Then from 0:53 (it's exciting... spooky?) to 1:02.

    1:19 to 1:24

    1:54 to 1:55

    2:27 to 2:29

And finally, when King is saying goodbye, is he thanking them for working "on the satellite"??

He has a very thick accent and uses a bit of slang that isn't common in the US. I put what I *think* he said in red.

It was an interesting thing. The first time of Oliver being there and learing like that and I think the large lot answer is there's a bit of movie making cause that would be watching the clips spot on you know, watching the seconds thing on the bottom.

(I think he's talking about splicing video clips together?)

Then from 0:53 (it's exciting... spooky?) to 1:02.
It's exciting watching the spooky bit. Your own buddy(?) spooky and then adding the music to it.

    1:19 to 1:24
    Spooky sound. Very spooky
(Hard to hear but I think that's what he said)

    1:54 to 1:55
It's good and all. or possibly It's good as hell.

    2:27 to 2:29
This one is really hard to understand. It might be If ____ went off there Can't understand the second word.

And finally, when King is saying goodbye, is he thanking them for working "on the satellite"??

(That's what it sounds like to me.)
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

While I don’t dispute this entirely, the fact that it’s coming from the New York Times makes me seriously question the credibility of this story
Curious what's credible to you. I guess the NYTimes -- founded in 1851 -- has FINALLY reached the point it's always been waiting for: fake news about Donald Trump.

To think people go through life thinking that experts, journalists, and doctors are lying all to defame Trump.

    Sad.

I’m pretty sure I never said this started with Trump. I would say it takes a certain amount of bias to infer that.

But just thinking back over the last 20 years, they’ve had the Jason Blair fiasco, the poor reporting on the Duke lacrosse players, Judith Miller reporting of Bush 41s WMDs. I could go on, but that was just off the top of my head.

Is there a news source that you would say is the most reputable? Or one that you question the least?

They all have biases, so it’s a matter of getting the same news from multiple sources and weeding out what’s true and what isn’t. I’ve read the Wall Street Journal for years, but anybody who has read it knows there is a lean to the right in their writing. I’ll watch CBS News most mornings, but Gayle King likes to show her political preference way too much.

If you read or watch one news outlet, and base an opinion on that alone, you’re obviously not getting the full story. But most of the time people can’t be bothered to even do that. I love reading news stories on Facebook, just to see the number of people that want to comment based on headlines alone, because they’re too lazy to actually read.

    From the article:

The book will go under the hammer on Oct. 13 and has a pre-sale estimate between 20,000 and 30,000 British pounds ($25,646 and $38,470), but could be worth as much as $65,000 based on its good condition.

Good Condition? The kids attached pictures to the book. It doesn't say how, whether tape or glue. If so, how would this be more valuable then a library copy? I think there is no way it goes beyond the upper pre-sale estimate.

Much the same as the S/L Gunslinger found at a recycle yard not so long ago without a DJ, it will fetch a nice prict, just not the premium they expect. Then again, it all depends on who wants it and how badly. If I'm not mistaken, a fine one goes for upwards of $160k.

I thought the article I read was legit. The highest priced one, noted by Reuters, sold at auction for $227k, but it was well above a basic first edition. The average are around $60k.

The company I signed contract with didn't start operations in Argentina under the new management (so...it's like I don't have a job). Plus, the government changed the custom's policy regarding couriers and I have a LOT of boxes for my bookstore held in customs and with no chance of releasing them because there's an unknown process being implemented. And with all the Covid cases, the contract I signed for a podcast was cancelled due to the production company going out of business.

This year has been a piece of shit but September reached a peak. I'm struggling with too many things at the same time and I don't remember a time when I've been so pessimistic.
