When it rains, it pours.....19-year-old local kid who my daughter and wife knew....went missing 36 hours ago (was suicidal apparently)...the three of us (and other families) searched 2.5 hours today for him...he was found dead by police...so so sad.

40 years ago I was 10 and recovering from almost dying and then trying to learn how to do everything over again. Now 40 years later I am a King collector. Who would have thunk it.

95 degrees here. Only 14% humidity so it's a "dry heat", but one doesn't want to be in the direct sun very long. Still gorgeous. Tulips and many other bulb plants are blooming. Shelter in place sucks, but things actually could be a lot worse, so I'm hanging in there.

I finally got around to watching The Irishman this weekend. Long, but solid. De Niro is great, as usual, but Pesci steals the damned thing. After seeing so many broad performances from him, he comes out of retirement with an understated masterpiece of a performance. A joy to watch.
