    With the "postponement" of the Aussie/NZ shows, Metallica doesn't have any shows planned until the end of March. They could conceivably get there sometime in the beginning of new year.

    I received an e-mail from Barnes & Noble stating, "Because you purchased THIS ITEM...we recommend..." The item referred to was bought on Amazon. This never happened to me before. This proves Amazon sells info to Barnes & Noble. No big surprise there.

    I'm also receiving e-mails in my bulk-mail from DHL Support about a package coming to me. Is this spam or legitimate? Anyone know? I don't think I ever heard of DHL Support, so I am deleting them without reading.

    I’m really bummed about Metallica cancelling their next tour because James Hetfield is back in rehab after 15 years of sobriety. When I saw them in San Francisco a few weeks ago, my wife noted how tired James looked. So I wonder how long he’s been spiraling.

    Everyone has their vices, but addiction sucks.

    I've received emails like this only from Fed Ex. Maybe some new business trend by the big delivery svcs? I did the same as you and deleted as spam without reading.

    That makes little sense. Amazon is a direct competitor to BN, there's no way they would sell data to them in any fashion. What's more likely is that you were looking at the item on BN and their tracker mistakenly picked it up as you purchasing the item.

    If you're not expecting a package, I'd say it's spam. Some of my online orders have been processed/shipped via DHL. They are a legit shipping company.

    I am pretty sure it is a phishing attack. I used to get phone calls in Chinese, but could hear "DHL" spoken. Looked it up, it is a popular scam, they want you to call them back and give personal information.

    Most packages I get from DHL are from oversees.

    Got recognized this week with a NASA Night Sky Program Outreach award for 2019. Our little club of 180 members is ranked 5th in the nation for public outreach programs, reaching something like 35K people last year and more this year. I'm the Public Relations and Social Media Director in addition to doing normal outreach activities (Star Parties, Library and School talks/presentations, etc.), so am involved quite a bit.
