Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
WooHoo...Go Angels!
I live 15 minutes from Angels Stadium.
On a separate not, I am unable to watch videos on YOUTUBE today. It tells me I need to either download the newest AdobeFlash player, or turn on Java Script.
I tried to download the newest AdobeFlash player and no luck....can anyone tell me how to check to see if Java Script is turned on?

I sometimes get that message. I log off completely (closing the browser) then log back on. That usually fixes the problem.

I was at the A's game last weekend where they were beat by the Angels. Rick and Sam would have loved it.
David, do you know about the job yet?
My girl is a fashion designer (well, looking for a job after graduated). She's extremely happy, coz, although she still doesnt have a job, today she recieved an email from probably THE most famous corset maker worldwide... Mr Pearl.
She've sent him several letters, left a voicemail on his phone, we went at his place (outside though :p ), and his email is really positive, although cant get a job from him or anything.
She so wanted to contact him that she cried when got the email ! Even more with all the kind words and comments on her work : apparently he was impressed, both by her work and her determination
Apparently, even Dita Von Teese struggled to contact him

That's pretty darn cool!

MAJOR BUMMER! I did not make the final round at Bloomberg. I impressed them, yes, but they cut down the size of the team they were putting together to 2 people instead of 3-6 and I didn't make it. They said they may expand within a couple months and I will be the first they call, but that doesn't pay my bills now. The search continues. It's really tough out there, and they say the economic recession is over...BULL SH#!

That sucks, David! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find something soon!

well i'm bummed for you david... i was really puling for you to get that job.
i'm sure something even better will be right around the corner... keep your spirits up.
and if nothing comes soon.... i'm looking for a new pool boy... i don't pay much... but benifits are good... we can hang out and watch football and baseball.
Oh, David, I'm sorry. Completely their loss, though. I'm sure something will come your way soon. Think of this as your warm-up.

To the Neil Gaiman fans:
Which would you choose between "American Gods" and "Ansani Boys" ? (and if you care to elaborate, why?)
Limited....Lettered.....or story?
If it's story your asking about, American Gods. I read American Gods first. When I read Ansani Boys I almost felt like I was reading the same story. Sort of. It seemed to be a continuation of American Gods. (oop's.....now I've gone and done it.....Gaiman fans can beat and flog me now)

Yah, sorry - strictly story wise. Thanks for that insight Ralph!
I've read neither of those two, but after you're done with those you should look for Neverwhere.
I am still planning to read those two. I'm a bit behind reading Gaiman. He is great though.
Just FYI
Richard Isanove of Marvel fame has joined our group and is answering questions in a thread dedicated to him in the Comics area. Go check it out.
