And a GREAT BIG apology from me to all of you Collectors or wanna be's out there as I have not been on the site here nearly as much as I want to be of late. The job search continues, but being a full-time parent (instead of an evening and weekend father) is like a black hole! I am getting pulled six ways to Sunday all the time. I struggle to get on here some days.
I tell people why can't I be independently wealthy because I LOVE being at home so much with my family. My being laid off in a way is a real gift to me and my family. With luck, I will find another job I love before the money wears out.
But suffice it to say, I miss being more in the middle of things here and thank you to all of you who occasionally reach out to me to see how I am doing. I appreciate the contact and the support.
BTW, I just sent a scan of the DT Comic art that Jae Lee graciously agreed to donate to the Haven Foundation fundraiser. Some lucky dog will be the winner Saturday night.
Also, I am picking up the Grand Prize at my Post Office tomorrow. It took light years, but I finally got Richard Isanove's signature to go with Jae Lee's and Peter David's. (Jae Lee did a Crimson King sketch in the book). I ship it now to Matt who ships it to Ms. Mod at King headquarters, where she will get Robin Furth's signature (in Australia) and the King himself. This will be a well traveled book, and the lucky winner may have to wait a bit for the final sigs, but it will be a PRIMO prize!!!

I wanted to post this in here as well because the Collectors on this site were such a huge part of the fund raiser.
This morning, Marsha over at the SKMB informed me that the man himself had noticed our efforts in the 2009 Haven Foundation Fund Raiser. He was kind enough to dictate an email which I just received.
