yeah... there was background music...
I'm gonna try metacafe... but they'll probably ban it also since they have the same rules as youtube.
not sure where I can upload it without them killing it because of the music.
try it here...
BTW... I added a bunch more lights tonight... but I'm not making another video ha ha
Looks great, Terry! Thanks!
(I didn't know you were a country fan. )
John
Born in Fort Worth, raised in Waco, lived in Austin for 32 years...5th generation Texan.... pretty much have to be a country fan (I'm pretty sure the 2-step is required high school course material in the Waco schools... ranks before just behind Football and cow ropin' and before English...)
Back when I was 22, I taught country western dance lessons for a couple of years... 2-step, double-time step, swing, polkas, waltzes and even the cotton-eye joe and the shotishe (can't you see me Dancin' a 2-step with the camera at the beginning of the video - ha ha.) I've won quite a few dance contests in my younger years.
but as a DJ, I listen and play pretty much all music... my favorite is blues (stevie ray vaughn and omar and the howlers are what really get me moving).
In the worst case: YOUSENDIT?

Ah...I see you added a soundtrack, and it wasn't just music playing in the background as ambient noise...still absurd, though.
Just made this Pineapple Upside Down Cake:
Recipe
Pineapple upside down is one of my favorites.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
I haven't had any in such a long time. I think you have inspired me to make one..............maybe for Christmas Eve

The recipe is above.
My sister got assigned to desserts so I gave her your recipe. She is making it for Christmas Eve, I am so excited about that. I will let you know how it turns out.

Congrats on the successful defense of her PhD thesis by your girlfriend, Biomieg!
What a light show, Terry! By the way, I saw SRV in concert out here in California a couple times. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to see/hear him in person given his untimely demise.
Mmmm....cake. If I leave now, I wonder if Jerome will have any left when I get there...

Anyone on here into physical fitness/working out? I started going to the gym on the regular 7 months ago. I've never been to one before and I was super anxious about it. I'm still thin but I feel stronger and muscle growth has been slow (vegan diet) but steady. I've gone from being completely ignorant about proper form, workout plans, proper nutrition to actually making plans for people I know. I hit 3 personal records this week and mentally, it felt like being at top of the world. Small numbers compared to pros and true gym rats but higher than an average person. Bench press: 185 lbs, squat: 235 lbs, deadlift: 325 lbs. I'm guessing these numbers mean nothing to most people here but damn, it felt good. My wife also hit 3 PRs yesterday. Totally insignificant stuff in the grand scheme of things but kind of stuff that makes ones day a lot better.
I joined a gym 3 years ago and lost 70 lbs.
I found it. Want it back?
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
Well done WeDealInLead! I don't lift but I am physically active (capoeira and bodyweight training - think gymnastics exercises with rings) and I'm very conscious about my nutrition, so I do appreciate your efforts, discipline and gains.
@Biomeg : you didnt say how your gf's PhD presentation went... should we forget? :-(

Can't wait to see this tonight !!
Amazing Spectacle: Total Lunar Eclipse Monday Night
For a few hours on the night of Dec. 20 to Dec. 21, the attention of tens of millions of people will be drawn skyward, where the mottled, coppery globe of our moon will hang completely immersed in the long, tapering cone of shadow cast out into space by our Earth. If the weather is clear, favorably placed skywatchers will have a view of one of nature's most beautiful spectacles: a total eclipse of the moon.
Unlike a total eclipse of the sun, which is only visible to those in the path of totality, eclipses of the moon can usually be observed from one's own backyard. The passage of the moon through the Earth's shadow is equally visible from all places within the hemisphere where the moon is above the horizon.
The total phase of the upcoming event will be visible across all of North and South America, as well as the northern and western part of Europe, and a small part of northeast Asia, including Korea and much of Japan. Totality will also be visible in its entirety from the North Island of New Zealand and Hawaii — a potential viewing audience of about 1.5 billion people. This will be the first opportunity from any place on earth to see the moon undergo a total eclipse in 34 months.

My problem is that it's supposed to occur at 3:15am. We also, here in the Cleveland area, have a VERY good possibility of heavy clouds (maybe even some snow) during the night. I think I'll be sleeping right through this.
John
Yeah, sorry I forgot to include the times ... might be worth setting an alarm for though ...
Time : North and Central America should be able to view the entire show, which is expected to last 3 1/2 hours if skies are clear. Total eclipse begins at 11:41 p.m. PST Monday or 2:41 a.m. EST Tuesday. The totality phase – when the moon is entirely inside Earth's shadow – will last a little over an hour.
