Neil Young’s “Lost” Album Homegrown Finally Gets Release Date
Young recorded the album in analog across 1974 and 1975

Neil Young
Last year, Neil Young said that his unreleased album Homegrown would finally see the light of day in 2020. Now, he’s finally revealed the release date for the LP that he recorded across 1974 and 1975: Homegrown is out June 19 via Reprise. Check out the tracklist and album cover below. Plus, hear Neil Young’s “Try.”
“I apologize. This album Homegrown should have been there for you a couple of years after Harvest,” Neil Young said. “It’s the sad side of a love affair. The damage done. The heartache. I just couldn’t listen to it. I wanted to move on. So I kept it to myself, hidden away in the vault, on the shelf, in the back of my mind... but I should have shared it. It’s actually beautiful. That’s why I made it in the first place. Sometimes life hurts. You know what I mean. This is the one that got away.”
Homegrown features drumming from Levon Helm and Karl T Himmel. There are also vocals from Emmylou Harris and contributions from Robbie Robertson, Ben Keith, Tim Drummond, and Stan Szelest. John Hanlon restored the original analog mixes of Homegrown, and the new release was mastered by Chris Bellman.

I can hardly wait. PUMPED!
Although; the sample of "Try" is not great. It sounds almost in slow motion.

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Actually, I gave up on Saul after a few episodes in the first season. I loved Breaking Bad, but Saul just wasn’t as good.

I just saw an actual video of the New York City upper class shopping district. The so called "Peaceful protests" were actually a "Ghetto Shopping Spree"!! Tiffany's, Nike, Cartier's, Sak's and virtually every other business along 5th Ave and uptown are boarded up after having their windows smashed and inventory raided. All that is except "Trump Tower" lol Media didn't bother covering that news. So sad to see the city boarded up and deserted that way.

I don’t know if Better Call Saul is better than breaking bad, but it is very, very good. It is a bit of a slow burn, but it is well worth the investment.
Random aside: I just received the first two volumes of “March 1917”, the third part of Solzhenitsyn’s The Red Wheel. This series is his magnum opus, and it has struggled to find an English translation for decades. The first part (or “knot”) “August 1914“, was published in English in the early 70s. The second part, “November 1916“, was published in English in 1999. These two volumes I received make up the first half of “March 1917“, which was published for the first time in English in November of last year.
Honestly, after the second part was published 20 years ago, I never thought we’d see a translation of any of the later volumes. As I understand it, these new translations only came about through crowdfunding. I can’t wait to start them, but I’m also a bit intimidated about rereading the first two volumes, which are quite hefty.

I'm not saying this lightly, Breaking Bad IS one of the best series in the last 20 years. But the fleshed out narrative and characterization of Better Call Saul is absolutely breathtaking!
It may be a slow burn for the first few episodes, but stick with it, as it becomes a raging Inferno!

If we can be honest and clearheaded enough to remember flannel and apathy don’t make something cool, it’s obvious that Michael Hutchence was a MUCH larger loss than Kurt Cobain.
