Quick note:
No 'Salem's Lot or The Stand Signed Limited Editions, sorry. Also, no The Plants, Cujo Guitars, or The New Lieutenant's Rap.
Sorry to disappoint anyone holding out for those, but those are not in this collection.
Also, this is not a Supercollection, but a lifetime collection of an above-average collector.
I may have missed it (or you may not want to post this kind of information) but: what type of items will be for sale (e.g., trades, S/Ls, magazines, proofs, ...)? Just so I will know whether or not I'l need to watch this thread...
*edit: okay, missed your post Shannon - still interested to see if there will be magazines and proofs.
Since there is so much interest in an already-revealed item, I might as well show off the full monty:
Bio: Tons of magazines. Today is my "magazine" day, actually. My living room floor looks like a magazine minefield. It's going to take quite a few hours to go through each one, catalog it, list the condition, take pictures. Proofs/ARCs, there might or might not be a handful or two.
Love that cheque!
lol, I never even noticed that. Check out the other little things:
"432 Marsten Street"
"Starkeville"
Yep, I opened it. I would hate to have not opened it, sold it, and then if and when someone opens it, something is damaged. Then I am stuck with either a) being a dick and not giving a refund or b) giving a refund and being stuck with a damaged item.
I will attempt to price everything at current market value. Some of the items for sale I haven't seen too often (if ever) in the year I have been collecting, so those will be a little harder to figure out. But no worries, everything will have a price come U-Day!
Isn't the TAK TAK the account number that Bodhi was talking about?
I'm helping my brother sell his S/L "IT". Proceeds will go to his charity Phoenix-fund which benefits survivors of Brain injuries. (http://www.phoenix-fund.org.
He has number 644/750. I thought I'd give everyone here a chance first....if there are no takers by tomorrow afternoon (Friday), it will be listed on eBay. It will ship from Denver within just a couple days in the original box, original packing material, etc. It was opened once to ensure the sig & get the limitation number. I'd like to get him $725 for the book .. I haven't kept up to date on sales but from a quick look-see, I think that is a fair price (both to you & to him).
PM me if you're interested. He will take PayPal, money order, probably a check (if you are willing to wait till it clears)

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Just think....only months ago Shannon would have spilled what he had to sell for TMSG.
Nah, not spilling. I wanna tease some more ... What can I tease ... Hmmm ... Two more pics then I'm done for the day with Unveiling stuff. Two different items:
Very interesting, Shannon. Looking forward to seeing this roll out in a couple weeks.
I would not mind having another copy of the book with the £2.50 DJ price...

It's very odd, as I go through this collection, I'll find a book or item that is in mint condition. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Then I'll keep going and find a book that has all its dustjacket edges bumped and worn/torn, rubbing to the cover, etc. It's pretty much hit or miss.
Like, I have a mint SIGNED AND INSCRIBED, FIRST EDITION ______, but on the other hand I have a heavily damaged UK FIRST EDITION ______. I have a still (or, it was) in the plastic SIGNED LIMITED ______________, but I have a US FIRST EDITION ___________ with tears to all six dust jacket corners and a small sticker on the inside rear cover.
Ugh! But no worries, every litte teeny tiny thing I see wrong with the items, I am taking a picture of it. And come U-Day I will show it all off as if I requested the pictures myself.
