I wish I could go back in time to when LOCUS was selling the limited CUJOs and DANCE MACABREs for $75 apiece and snatched up every one of them. They were available for quite a while at that price too!
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
When the s/l Cujo came out, I was buying most of my books from a dealer in the Chicago area, mainly by mail. I had to go to Chicago on business, so I paid a visit to this dealer. He had a number of Cujo s/l volumes and he said they were not selling, so he'd sell me a few at $60 each. I couldn't see the need to buy more than one, though, so that's what I did. I sure wish I could also go back in time.
