Is anyong interested by the limited BluRay set of UNDER THE DOME season 1, zone 1?
I am truly disappointed by it (do not look anything like what I thought I was buying), and will request a refund from amazon unless someone wants it.

I dont remember how many sets there were, but it's sold out. Except the limitation, i dont really see any reason why someone would really want it.
Anyone can easily find some snowglobes in tourists shops that are done better. Obviously it includes the BluRay set but... does it really make it worth keeping? There is a cheaper BluRay set...

I think it's a nice set... but nothing compared to what the original pictures promised.

I am satisfied with mine. I figured it wouldn't exactly match the digital image. I will say the glue job to affix the dome to its base was shoddy. I barely twisted (counterclockwise as I wrongly assumed) to open the unit and it separated. I carefully re-glued it.

I did the exact same thing, twisted it right off. They didn't make it clear how to access the DVD's.

It's VERY far from being "exactly" the same than the digital image...

Why did y'all want these in the first place? Did you think the series was good enough to want personal copies to watch again and again? Or was it that the packaging intrigued you enough that you thought it might be a collectible that would increase in value over time? I'm not being critical here (at least I am not trying to be). I have certainly bought my share of stuff over the years that now I just look at and think "What the hell was I thinking when I bought that?"

I'm just wondering. Personally I didn't like the series enough to want copies for personal use so I never considered buying this set. But I've bought plenty of other things that I regretted.

I did like the series and bought mine not worring about future value. It is my favorite non book SK item. I know the book is very different than the show but liked the show because of it. I also liked the book.

I never watched a full episode. I preliminarily thought the "Dome" concept was cool. The delivery was less than expected, but it was a <$100 "lark".
It did not turn out to be as wonderful as I had thought; but not everything is the greatest thing ever.

Someday. I am now down to 28 months before I retire (but who's counting?). I plan to start selling off large numbers of duplicate and no longer wanted items when I have the time to photograph and list them.
