Another 4 for me. I like this book quite a bit.
"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard
"You needn't die happy when your day comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from beginning to end and ka is always served." ~ Roland Deschain
Again, haven't read it yet. Saw the film version a long time ago and don't remember much other than the general synopsis. Should be a fun book, whenever I get to it.

When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So many 4's , which I too must give this book.
I do like it, but not enough for a 5.
The answer is within
all matter is energy, all energy is GOD
I thought it was okay, but was very annoyed by the lack of chapter breaks. It makes it very difficult to find stopping points. I give it a 3.

Am I the first one who gave it a 5?
It's one of my forever favourite books on Earth.
Roland would have understood.
I give this one a very strong 4.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.

I think when I first read it I was about 14 or so and it impressed me so much. The ordinary fight of two ordinary women.. still so fascinating. When I reread it I found it even deeper.
I am waiting for the next 5 eagerly.
Roland would have understood.
meh. a 3 for me.
3. Not bad but it never thrilled me either.
4, really enjoyed it!
Well, I misspoke (mistyped?). I meant "fun" as in an engrossing read. It's obviously not a laugh out loud riot.
I gave it a 4. I didn't quite love it but enjoyed the read very much.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”-Mark Twain
